Yes and No....





Yes, because I hate the modern US, especially the Federal Government.





No, because the states don't matter anymore. In this era of vastly-expanded Federal power, the states have become little more than provinces. Originally the individual states were supposed to be semi-independent republics. Now, they're just administrative districts like an English county or a French prefecture.





There are a few secessionist movements in the US. One of them is centered on the Pacific Northwest. If they ever seem to have a chance of succeeding, I'd like to go there.Americans would you ever agree on making every state independent nations?
No, because my state is a 'debtor state'....we receive more money from the federal government than we pay them





But, it's a beautiful place with few people [5th largest size, 36th largest population], interesting cultures and unique traditions, crude oil reserves....and unlike our big neighbor to the east....high mountains!

But to tell the truth, there are certain parts in the south that seem to be governed completely differently than anywhere else in the US.
No, because California would conquer everyone on the west coast until eventually they own everything and I don't want Arnold telling me how to live my life. By the way, I live in North Carolina.

Sure...already the federal gov't is taking more money than we get back in services. Hell, I live in new york and downstate wants to seceede from upstate for teifing our money too.
