About how much would it cost to start a business designing & making screen tees?

That is, if I don't rent a space, but just sell them somewhere else.About how much would it cost to start a business designing %26amp; making screen tees?
I started a business selling silkscreened t-shirts and turned it into a full clothing collection - that was damn expensive.





Anyway - buy your t-shirts wholesale from American Apparel, come up with a couple of designs, silk screen some samples and take them to local independent stores to try and generate some interest - you'll probably have to sell them on consignment (sale or return) at first. Depending on where you live there are companies that will silk screen the tees for you if you can't do it yourself. Go to the source - a shop that designs screens. Nothing worth doing is cheap. The start-up will be expensive because you have to purchase equipment, paint, shirts. What you need for designing your own tees, I haven't a clue, but again check out a business that is doing this type of work.
